Happy Birthday, Jackie

Just so you know who everyone is:

Happy Birthday to my dear friend Jackie. She is the blond second from the right. We have been friends since we were very young girls. It is really only the grace of God that we did not kill each other when we were teenagers. It is a testimony to the fact that everyone grows up and matures. I am so thankful for the friendship that the Lord has allowed us to have. Jackie is truly one who knows the best and the worst and still loves you. She had entered a new decade of her life as she is now the big "30". Her birthday is actually July 27th but today was the day that we took her out, "just the girls."

We took Jackie to her favorite restaurant, The Olive Garden, and had Soup, Salad and Bread sticks. It was great food. We spared us all by not having the waitresses and waiters sing, but we did enjoy the chocolate cake. :)

Jackie then had to open her presents. Cyndi and I gave Jackie cards and gifts. Now Belinda on the other hand added the spice. She gave Jackie her very sweet presents in a bag that sang every time you opened it. Now this bag did not sing your traditional "Happy Birthday", it sang, "Wow, I feel good." We laughed so hard and had such a great time making her open the bag several times. I am sure that the other people in the restaurant thought we were crazy.

We then went shopping in our downtown mall. It is called River Park Square because it is close to the Spokane River that runs through the middle of downtown. Most of the shops are specialty shops and we would never purchase anything there but it was fun to look. We stopped in this high end furniture store and Belinda and Jackie just had to try out the couch. They looked very "comfy". Well, we had a great time.
